Our group is run by a committee of 12 rad women. If you have any questions or concerns about the group, these are the women you should seek out at meetings.
JULES | ESTEEMED PRESIDENT & GROUP DOCUMENTARIAN
As proud co-founder and current President of this glorious gang, the community Wells Angels has collectively built over the last 10 years is one of my life's greatest achievements.
When I'm not shouting up the front at our meetings, running the Instagram and wrangling our amazing committee, I'm a creative in advertising, mainly making films about crisps.
Other passions include photography, live comedy, raves, a decent jacket, dismantling the patriarchy and gardening.
LIANNE | TREASURER & BINDER KEEPER
I love working on the committee and being the new treasurer.
After a long and rewarding career in automotive marketing, I now live in TW with my husband and 2 cats, and my hobbies include sewing, DIY, hiking, travel, photography and learning Spanish.
EMMA | MADAM SECRETARY
After serving as your secretary for the last few years, I can honestly say I am so hugely proud to be part of the Wells Angels family. This group is such a special community; over the years, I’ve made lifelong friends and I’m constantly inspired by the incredible women who make up our membership.
Life has been a bit of a whirlwind lately as I’ve just welcomed a beautiful little girl! While she’s my world, the Angels give me the perfect excuse to pop out for a few hours every month for some much-needed normalcy (and grown-up conversation!).
When I’m not handling secretary duties or on "mum duty," I’m usually dreaming of my next good holiday. I also have a bit of a passion for changing my hair colour, so don't be surprised if I look slightly different from one meeting to the next!
KATE | MEMBERSHIP MAVEN & CRAFT CLUBBER
I had the great pleasure of founding Wells Angels alongside Jules in 2016 and get so much joy from being a part of this fantastic group of women.
In addition to trying to remember all your names, I’m you’re go-to gal for all things membership and also host our monthly Craft Club (come along!).
I love cooking, collecting books that I seem to never read, and taking photos. I should also probably add that I’m American - don’t want to surprise any of you with the accent!
AMANDA | SUB-GROUP WRANGLER
Stepmum, marketer, and compulsive organiser (my to-do lists have their own to-do lists). I swapped London for RTW in 2016, joined Wells Angels with lightning-fast fingers, and never looked back.
A committee member since 2019, I oversee sub-groups like Book Club, Walking Club, and Chinwag – think bestsellers, boots, and booze!

GEMMA | RAVER & CULTURE QUEEN
Hi! I’m Gemma - I’ve been on the WI Committee since pre-lockdown (aka the Before Times) and I run the rather sporadic sub-groups that are Rave Club and Culture Club.
I work in Clearances for film and television, which is one of those jobs nobody knows about and which takes a surprisingly long time to explain.
I also sometimes work as an Activity Ranger at Bedgebury Pinetum, which is a much more straightforward job, albeit also much muddier.
LEANNE | RETIRED TREASURER & TEA-MAKER
I grew up in the Wild Wild West Country, before running off ‘That London’ in 2002. My husband and I moved to Kent in 2016 where I quickly signed up to Wells Angels and joined the committee soon after. I’ve loved every ruddy minute of Girl Gang mischief since. Girl Gang 4 Eva!

I love our girl gang and I have grown so much in confidence and knowledge over the last 10 years with Wells Angels and I want to help others do this too.
I love all cooking (dabble in a cake business now and again) I like crafts, can put my hand to recreating most things and willing to learn. Wine…. enough said! Nearly an empty nester of three gorgeous young women! So need to fill my time…. anyone free?

Originally from the Tunbridge Wells area, I moved back eight years ago and haven't looked back! I've been part of Wells Angels for three years now and love bringing my enthusiasm and fun ideas to the group.
When I'm not dreaming up new activities for the committee, you'll find me travelling to new destinations or socialising with friends. I love nothing more than connecting people and making sure everyone has a great time!

I've been a member of this fantastic community of women since making the move from South East London in 2022.
Outside of Wells Angels you'll probably find me running or drinking wine (or both - see Marathon du Medoc).
BECCA | BARKEEPER & NAIL ART INFLUENCER
I'm super proud to be repping the Welsh contingent of our Wells Angels committee. I pitch in with whatever needs doing, but I most enjoy choosing wine for when the meetings call for a bar!
I'm currently in my wholesome granny hobby era; I started knitting earlier this year and I can't wait to get in the garden during the evenings and weekends. I love cooking and baking too.
During the week I work for an incredible local children's charity as an Office Manager and PA. In 2025, I completed a sky dive to raise much needed funds for the children and families we support.
KAREN | JILL OF ALL TRADES
Hello, I'm Karen, in name but not nature, although if you do need anyone to speak to the manager, happy to be that gal.
I've been a proud member of this wonderful girl group since 2017 and been on the committee since 2023 as a general committee member. I'm honoured to be a part of transitioning our group that was already so special into an even brighter future.
Outside of our girl gang, my CV is more colourful than Nessa's, I'm just a little obsessed with cats, I love ballet and wine and I have two feral children.
